Briggs Michael Pullin

With hearts broken beyond words and forever changed, we share the passing of our precious son, Briggs Michael Pullin, who passed away on January 25, 2026. Though our time with Briggs was far too short, he filled our lives with a love so deep it will last forever. Every smile, every hug, and every moment shared with him is a memory we will carry in our hearts for the rest of our lives. Briggs was a bright, spirited soul whose smile could light up any room. He had a gift for making friends wherever he went, whether on the dirt bike track, the ball field, at wrestling, or anywhere life took him. To know Briggs was to love Briggs. He lived life with energy, joy, and a competitiveness that fueled others. Briggs loved motocross and feeling the thrill of the track and was affectionately known as “the Mohawk Kid,” always sporting his lime green accessory. He enjoyed baseball, not just the game itself, but playing alongside his teammates. He had a passion for singing and dancing and could often be found holding a microphone, belting out his favorite songs. Briggs loved gaming with his dad, uncle, and friends, especially playing Fortnite, where his laughter filled the room. He also enjoyed swimming, spending time outdoors, always finding adventure in even the simplest moments. He proudly attended 1st grade at Westover Christian Academy and cherished his time at Becky’s Kiddie Kollege. Academics seemed to come effortlessly to him, following in his mom’s footsteps. He took great pride in learning how to read and his natural talent with numbers earned him the title of “math rockstar” from his teacher. Most of all, Briggs treasured the special bond he shared with his sisters. He was always protective, playful, and full of love. No one could make Brinkley laugh the way he could. Emme James loved following him everywhere, always trying to keep up. He was nothing short of a hero to his sisters and proudly embraced his role as their big brother. Briggs leaves behind a family who loved him beyond words and will miss him every single day: his parents, Corey and Rachel; his sisters, Emme James and Brinkley; his grandparents, Terri Brinkley (Yaya), Wayne Brinkley (PopPop) and his wife Teresa, and Mike and Donna Pullin (PawPaw and Mimi); his great-grandparent, Nadene Lewis (Gigi); and his aunts and uncles, Sarah Aiken and her husband Jordan, Caleb Brinkley and his girlfriend Madi, Patrick Pullin and his wife Megan, and Kevin Rickett and his wife Skye. He is also lovingly remembered by many cousins and beloved family members, including Thomas and Isabelle Barker. He is reunited with many great grandparents, who went before him and are forever held in our hearts. Even though his time with us was short, Briggs lived a life that was so full it overflowed. His love, laughter, and brace-face smile will remain with us forever. He will always live in our hearts, remembered for the joy he brought, the friendships he made, and the love he shared as a son, a brother, and a friend to us all. Briggs loved his school and these funds will be used to carry on his memory. A service to celebrate Briggs’ life will be held on Saturday, February 7th at 2 PM at The Tabernacle, 1978 South Boston Rd, Danville, VA 24540.
