William Williams

William Williams, 63, of 534 Gancedo St. S.W., Palm Bay, Florida, unexpectedly went home to be with the Lord on Friday, September 12, 2025 at his residence. William was born in Ft. Worth, Texas on January 14, 1962, a son to Betty M. Swango Williams and the late Robert G. Williams. He served with the U.S. Marines on a number of Military Deployments including the Gulf War. William was a Retired US Marine Retiring as rank of Gysgt. After his retirement from the Marine Corps he remained a Gysgt. He was a disabled veteran. Also after retirement, William worked as a Maintenance Planner for Columbia Forest Products in Chatham, VA until March 2023 prior to moving to Florida. He loved doing any type of maintenance and repair work. William also enjoyed water color painting and traveling. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Melbourne, Florida. William lived in North Carolina for 24 years. William is survived by his wife, Kimberly (Kim) Jones Williams (HIS ENDLESS LOVE) of the home, his mother, Betty M Swango Williams of Lynchburg, Virginia, one daughter, Danielle Williams (LITTLE Princess), (Donnie Funderburk) of Durham, NC, one son, William Williams, II (Buddy) of Palm Bay, Florida, one granddaughter, Katelyn Funderburk , four grandsons, Donnie Funderburk, William Williams, III, Alexander Williams, and Austin Williams, one brother, David Theodore Williams of Indianapolis, Indiana, one sister, Tina Sue Williams of Lynchburg, Virginia, special friends, Mark Christenson, Britton and Lisa Potter, Oscar and Christine Rodriquez. In addition to his father he also was predeceased by his Mother-In-Law, Velma Jones. William will forever be missed by his Loving Wife and his 2 Precious Children. Funeral services for William will be conducted at God’s Grace Baptist Church, 88 Bethesda Church Road, Ruffin, NC 27326 on Saturday, September 20, 2025, at 3:00 p.m. with Pastor Wayne Jones. Interment will follow the service in the church cemetery with military honors conducted by VFW Post 7316 and American Legion Post 89. A visitation will follow the service in the Church. At other times the family will be at the residence of Wayne Jones, 1331 Old Hwy 86 N. Yanceyville, NC on Thursday and Friday from 12:00 – 4:00 p.m. In Lieu of flowers the family suggest Memorial Donations be made to Tunnel to Towers, 2361 Hylan Blvd., Staten Island, New York 10306 or God’s Grace Baptist Church, 88 Bethesda Church Road, Ruffin, NC 27326.
